We are pleased to present this new website for the California Institute for Dance Learning.  It is designed to bring dance teachers back again and again for ideas, inspiration, peer learning, collegial support and resources.

Those of you familiar with the CIDL may be surprised by the expanded offerings detailed here.  Examples include:  extended library hours, semester length foundation courses (DICDC-A, DICDC-B and Curricular Progressions), Saturday brunches and other activities allowing multiple points of entry to dance teaching work.  Peruse Workshops, Professional Learning Communities and Resources for details.

The What’s New? section will change regularly, providing you with Lessons of the Month; Pedagogy Tips, a monthly listing of CIDL events and related events, as well as a full calendar so that you can plan your professional learning in advance.  Each semester we will profile the work of a peer dance educator with links to the educator’s website or contact information as these become available.
